How to Watch: Broncos vs. Cardinals

MATCHUP

The Broncos will close the preseason with a home matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Head Coach Sean Payton said Jarrett Stidham will start at quarterback and play 8-12 snaps before Zach Wilson enters and gets “a lot of snaps” during the game.

Safety Brandon Jonescornerback Levi Wallace and running back Audric Estime are among the other players Payton said would play in the preseason final, but he also noted “a number of starters” will not see action.

As players looking to earn a roster spot try to make a final impression, Payton said the focus is on earning another preseason victory before the team turns its attention to Week 1 in Seattle.

“It’s the most important series or set of plays or quarter for a lot of guys,” Payton said Friday. …They’re keeping score. We want to win. And then we want to show improvement.”
