Scientist Challenges Lawyers in Supreme Court Second Amendment Cases

Like many constitutional scholars across the country, Chapman University law professor Lawrence Rosenthal is unhappy with the state of the Supreme Court’s jurisprudence regarding the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as it relates to firearms laws.

By expanding firearms laws in recent years, the Supreme Court has sent conflicting signals to lower courts about how to evaluate the validity of firearms laws against the constitutional protection of the right to “keep and bear Arms.”
