Kilburn Engg aims to raise ₹300 crore

Calcutta: Kilburn Engineering Sp. z o. o. he suggested to raise up to 300 crore rupees by preferential allocation With shares and/or convertible warrants at Rs 425 per share. The company said the proposal is subject to approval by members at the upcoming AGM. The promoters’ stake may come down by 2-3% after the fund raise. The promoters have 50% stake in the company.
A Kilburn official said that apart from the promoter group, a group of domestic HNIs and corporates are investing in the company along with a few foreign institutional investors. The company’s managing director Ranjit Lala said, “This strategic move will strengthen the company’s financial position and support our growth initiatives. The funds raised will be primarily used for ongoing acquisitions, business expansion, repayment of long-term debt and pursuing future expansion and strategic acquisitions.”
