Roland DGA to showcase new digital imaging technologies, showcase unique displays and conduct live demonstrations at PRINTING United Expo 2024

Visitors to the Roland DGA booth (#SL10088) can be the first to see new and innovative Roland DG inkjet printers, such as the EU-1000MF large format flatbed printer (which will be unveiled for the first time at PRINTING United), the new VersaOBJECT™ large format and tabletop UV printers, the new compact yet powerful VersaSTUDIO direct to film, UV and eco-solvent desktop printers, and many more.

Visitors to the show can also view unique DG DIMENSE textured and dimensional prints at the Roland DGA booth. The DG DIMENSE digital printing solution is centred around the advanced Dimensor S texture printer, which works with DIMENSE water-based inks and specialist media to create wallpapers and other design elements with stunning visual and tactile appeal. In addition, surface design and digital printing specialists Western Sensibility will be on hand to showcase their latest work printed on Roland DG inkjet printers and provide advice to print professionals looking to add interior design applications to their product offering.

Roland DGA will also be showcasing its new VersaOBJECT CO-i Series and MO-240 flatbed UV printers – both of which are capable of printing vibrant, detailed graphics and eye-catching special effects directly onto a wide range of substrates and three-dimensional objects. The company’s new VersaSTUDIO desktop machines will also be front and center, including the versatile BN2 Series printer/cutters, the BY-20 direct-to-film printer for garment decoration and the BD-8 UV flatbed for product personalization. This year, visitors can visit the VersaSTUDIO product section of the Roland DGA booth, upload an image from their smartphone and have it printed as a sticker on the BN2 using Antigro Designer’s “Sticker Builder” software. Antigro Designer representatives will also be on hand to answer any questions about the software, which allows users to create custom-shaped, print-and-cut stickers without using design software such as Adobe Illustrator.

Of course, visitors to the stand will be able to see Roland DG’s most popular large-format inkjet printers in action, including the latest models in the expanded TrueVIS™ printer family – the LG series UV printer/plotter and the AP-640 latex printer – which join the best-selling VG3 and SG3 eco-solvent models in the series.

Car wrap enthusiasts will be able to attend live wrap demonstrations at the booth, which Roland DGA will be hosting daily. Digital EFX professionals will transform the Tesla Cybertruck with vibrant graphics printed on the Roland DG TrueVIS VG3 and AP-640. On the first day of the show, the Digital EFX crew will perform a complete bumper-to-bumper wrap of the Cybertruck with the help of the Masters of Branding (MOB) group of car wrap installers.
