Accounts Payable (AP) & Procurement Services has entered into a new three-year contract with two one-year extensions with Supra Office Solutions, a local and minority-owned contract supplier, and WB Mason, the nation’s second-largest privately held workplace products dealer, as Drexel University’s Tier-one office products supplier. The new contract is effective July 1.

As Drexel’s Tier-one office supply supplier, Supra will partner with WB Mason to provide office supplies, furniture, janitorial products, breakroom products and other related products at highly competitive prices, along with joint account management, customer service, special order sourcing, delivery, quarterly business reviews, returns and other campus support. This agreement will also help increase local job opportunities.

Founded in 2011, Supra Office Solutions is independently owned and operated by Chairman and CEO Lin Thomas, President and COO Derrick Suswell, and Vice President of Sales and Government Affairs Ismail A. Shahid, all native and African-American Philadelphians. Supra maintains a newly constructed 70-square-foot office and warehouse in West Philadelphia’s West Parkside neighborhood, located in the HUBZone (a historically underutilized business zone).

AP & Procurement Services’ Supplier Inclusion program expands Drexel’s supplier pool by developing business relationships with local businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+. This new partnership with WB Mason/Supra is one significant example of the many ways the team regularly engages with the Greater Philadelphia community, supports small businesses, and enhances the quality of Drexel’s products and services.

“Supra Office Solutions, Inc. combines deep market knowledge with the flexibility to meet Drexel’s unique needs while sharing a strong commitment to the region’s success,” explained Allen Riddick, Drexel’s executive director of supplier engagement. “Through this partnership with WB Mason, Supra is committed to strengthening the local economy through significant workforce and economic impact.”

Lin Thomas, President and CEO of Supra, shared his excitement about the partnership: “The Board and employees of Supra Office Solutions, Inc., a local Philadelphia company, are pleased that Drexel University, a prestigious anchor university in our city and country, has selected Supra as their office provider, in partnership with WB Mason. We greatly appreciate it!”
