MONTREAL, Canada – September 4, 2024 – NorPix Inc., a leader in the development of high-speed video recording software, today unveiled StreamPix 10, a significantly enhanced 64-bit version of its best-in-class digital video recording software.


NorPix customers will find the groundbreaking new features in StreamPix 10 invaluable for capturing high-speed video. Standout new features include:


  • Only one license is now needed to unlock all GPU-accelerated compression features (MJPEG, H264, JEVC).
  • Added new infrared mapping module supporting more formats and predefined color palettes to speed up workloads.
  • New StreamPix remote control module via UDP network connection.
  • Users can update all camera/frame capture device interfaces with the latest native API.
  • Numerous performance improvements, architectural updates, and fixes across various sections of the software, such as adding export metadata to csv/txt files, multithreading support for remote exporting, and a new pre/post trigger mode supporting infinite post durations.

Widely considered the gold standard in digital recording software, legacy StreamPix features include Precision Time Protocol (PTP) camera synchronization, Bayer interpolation and white balance processing, and image compression accelerated by integrated graphics processing units (IGPUs) from Nvidia, AMD and Intel.


Versatile and easy to integrate, StreamPix is ​​compatible with GigE Vision, USB3, 2.5, 5, 10, 25 and 100 GigE Vision, Camera Link, CoaXPress, ONVIF, Firewire, Web IP, WDM and fiber optic cameras and capture cards.


NorPix StreamPix 10 is bundled with Microsoft Visual C++ 2022. The latest version no longer supports Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8.
