EFG Hermes dominates the Emerging EMEA Extel 2024 survey ranking

EFG Hermes, a subsidiary of EFG Holding and a leading investment bank in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, is proud to announce the strong performance of its research division in the Emerging EMEA Extel (formerly Institutional Investor Research) Survey 2024. The firm’s research division and analysts secured leading positions in key sectors, reinforcing its authority and deep expertise in the region, according to a press release.

In the highly competitive analyst rankings, EFG Hermes has once again shown leadership. Hatem Alaa, Managing Director, Deputy Head of Research and Head of Consumer Research, has been ranked as the No. 1 analyst in the Consumer sector. He also came second in MENA Research and the Transport sector. Similarly, Ahmed Hazem Maher, Director of MENA Industrials Research, was named the No. 1 analyst in the Utilities sector and achieved the No. 3 position in the Transport sector. In addition, Ahmed Moataz, Deputy Head of Healthcare Research, was named the No. 2 in the Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals sectors.

EFG Hermes’ strong rankings in the survey further underscore the company’s comprehensive research capabilities and commitment to delivering exceptional value to its customers. The company was ranked second in MENA Research and the Utilities sector.
