Colliers Promotes Jodie Poirier to President of Occupier Services, Americas – Commercial Observer

Jodie Poirier was promoted as Miners (CIGI)The new president of the company’s consumer services division in the Americas, Commercial Observer has learned.

Poirier, who previously served as Colliers’ market leader in the Greater Los Angeles region, will begin her new role effective immediately and will remain based in Los Angeles.

She will replace Scott Nelsonwho previously served as general manager of U.S. tenant services, Nelson will take on the newly created global position of executive vice president and chief development officer of tenant services, according to Colliers.

“I am very excited to take on this new national role and accelerate our success by supporting our clients and brokers across the country as we navigate the future of real estate,” Poirier said in a statement. “I know our entrepreneurial team is well-positioned and committed to aligning our clients’ real estate strategies with their business goals, and I look forward to doing my part to lead that effort.”

In her new role, Poirier will develop strategies to “drive growth in the Americas tenant services business,” and work with clients and brokers to acquire clients “using the Colliers platform,” the company said. She will report to Colliers’ U.S. CEO Gil Borok.

“Jodie is highly respected, tenacious and a great brand ambassador for us. I am confident she will bring tremendous growth to the company in her new role,” Borok said in a statement.

He was named to CO Power LA’s 2020 list.Previously, Poirier served as director of brokerage services at Colliers from 2011 to 2014, and returned to the firm during the pandemic after serving as managing director at CBRE and vice president Davis Companies.

She then moved across the country from Boston to become executive director of Colliers’ Los Angeles region, responsible for the strategic direction and financial performance of the area, CO previously reported.

Poirier also focuses on developing talent in the commercial real estate industry and serves as a board member NAIOPSouthern California Office and Network Platform AIRPORT MAINTENANCE, according to the Colliers website.

Poirier will undoubtedly be very busy in her new role at Colliers as the firm grapples with the domestic real estate market and works to fill an empty office in New Yorkamong other tasks.
