Adobe’s Chief Legal Officer, Key to AI Strategy, Is Leaving the Company

Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE) chief legal officer Dana Rao is leaving the firm, Bloomberg News reported.

Rao played a key role in developing Adobe’s artificial intelligence strategy and led the company through an unsuccessful antitrust battle to acquire the software maker for $20 billion Figma, report in addition.

Meanwhile, Gloria Chen, Adobe’s chief human resources officer, will lead Adobe’s legal organization while the company searches for a permanent successor, the report noted, citing Adobe.

Rao led Adobe’s legal, security and policy department. As executive vice president, general counsel and chief trust officer, he oversaw the company’s legal and policy teams, as well as Adobe’s security team, according to Adobe’s website.

Rao was appointed executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary in June 2018. Prior to joining Adobe, Rao worked at Microsoft for 11 years.
