TikToker Reveals Shocking Earnings From Viral Videos of Prank Phone Calls

A TikTok prankster only became popular six months after she started creating content, but she’s since earned a tidy sum thanks to two popular videos.

TikToker Lola often goes viral for her prank phone call videos, claiming she is on the platform “to make you laugh.”

Most importantly, she used AI to create the voice of Ice Spice. She then called the famous cookie company Crumbl, pretending to be the “In Ha Mood” artist, and gained over 4 million views.

Lola did the same with rapper Nicki Minaj and called Papa Johns Pizza. The prank call, which ended with a hilarious conversation between the artist and the restaurant, has reached over 19 million views.

Now, the TikToker has shared with her 62,000 followers how much the platform paid her for two viral videos, shocking many of her viewers.

In a TikTok post Lola shared on August 25th, where she broke down her earnings, she revealed that her RPM (rate per minute) for the Ice Spice video was $0.56. Since posting the video to TikTok on August 12th, Lola has earned $735.86 for that one video — or more.

She also detailed how much she made from her Nicki Minaj prank call, which went even more viral. With an RPM of $0.44, Lola ultimately made $3,643.33 from her TikTok as of August 13.

“It’s really a sign that it’s worth it to keep posting on TikTok,” Lola said, explaining how it took her six months to finally create a viral video.

Viewers were as shocked by Lola’s earnings as she was, and envied what she could buy with her $4,000.

“Damn, so much rent and bills,” wrote an impressed viewer.

“Girl, you’re gonna get paid again,” another added, after Lola’s explanation of her earnings reached more than 20 million views.

Many viewers also commented that they would like to make money from their viral TikToks. However, because they are from an ineligible country, they do not have access to the platform’s “creator fund,” which allows TikTokers with more than 10,000 followers to make money from their viral videos.

Streamer IceTalks also shocked his fans by tweeting how much he made on TikTok compared to Twitch.

In September of this year, IceTalks posted a tweet revealing that he had earned over $4,000 from TikTok in August, which was $1,500 more than what he earned from Twitch.
