This New Robot Vacuum Mop Does Something Roomba Can’t – and It’ll Make Your Life Easier

Dreame Technology makes some of the best robot vacuums out there. That’s what makes the company’s latest gadget reveals at IFA 2024 even more exciting. Both the H14 Pro cordless vacuum and the L40 Ultra hybrid robot vacuum feature improved technology and suction power for an even deeper, more autonomous clean.

The L40 Ultra is Dreame’s latest flagship robot vacuum and mop. It’s packed with cutting-edge features, from a side cleaning brush for cleaning hard-to-reach areas to robotic mop arms for more thorough cleaning under overhangs. The multi-disc mopping pads really stand out, especially when the best Roomba, its new flagship Combo 10 Max, pulls a single pad straight along its back. Those mop arms can angle themselves to mop closer to walls and under crevices.

Like the Roomba and Shark floor cleaning robots, the L40 Ultra has an intelligent RGB sensor that precisely detects dirt. Combined with 12,000 Pa of suction power, it efficiently picks up dirt and pet hair in fewer passes. Once everything is sucked up from the floor, the self-cleaning mop and pad use 158°F (70°C) hot water to effectively tackle stains. The L40 Ultra’s base automatically empties dirt for up to 75 days, dries mops with hot air, and refills water in addition to cleaning solution.

For more manual cleaning, the H14 Pro by Dreame is an upright wet and dry vacuum cleaner with a 180-degree design. It can lie completely flat to clean tight corners and easily slide under furniture. It is equipped with a powerful 18,000 Pa suction power and an innovative liquid separation motor that prevents backflow of waste water for effective wet cleaning – even when the vacuum is lying parallel to the floor.
