The home in question was a 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom property on N Fairfax Ave in Los Angeles that was listed for nearly $4 million and would have netted Bre an estimated $119,250 in commission.

“My ex-husband, Johnny Manziel, reached out to me because he’s looking for a house in Los Angeles. If you know sports, you know Johnny Football. Even if you don’t, he’s definitely known in every household. He was an incredible athlete — he still is,” Bre, who was married to the former NFL player from 2018 to 2021, said in a confessional. “So I’ll help him find something in Los Angeles, but we’ll make sure he lives very far away from me.

Their relationship got off to an interesting start when Johnny immediately told Bre he was “late” and then asked if she was too hot in her leather outfit.

“I like that there’s no TV in here. That’s the kind of vibe I’m in right now,” he added, before Bre asked if he was “af—king monk.” Johnny took that as an opportunity to make fun of Bre’s fashion.

“You know, we should talk about those pants. You’re going to take them off and fly away,” he said. “And by the way, you have something in your teeth.”

Bre also didn’t hesitate to make fun of Johnny, adding, “You’ve got paint on your shirt like you’re an artist or something. And a hat. You’re useless.”

Ber pointed out that Johnny had been unfaithful, to which he replied, “I still feel bad about the way I treated you. The divorce—after we broke up—was one of the hardest times of my life. I cried and begged and pleaded.”

Despite the split, Johnny made it clear he doesn’t regret breaking up with Bre. “I don’t think it’s necessarily that accurate,” he said after Bre joked that his emotional speech made her think he still loved and missed her.

“I’m glad he can recognize the hell he put me through,” Bre told the cameras. “That tells me at least the effort I put in is appreciated and it’s not all for nothing. Johnny is like Peter Pan. He just never wants to grow up.”

Some of Bre and Johnny’s other memorable jokes included them arguing about their different upbringings. Then Johnny asked Bre if she still had the same tattoo they got together. (Spoiler alert: she doesn’t.)

Johnny criticized Bre for her behavior when they started dating.

“You haven’t changed much since you were at Wet Republic. When we got engaged, we were planning on flying Southwest back from Vegas to L.A. every week,” he recalled. “Do you remember when we met? I invited you to L.A. and booked you a flight. When you got to the airport, you said, ‘Where the hell is my car?’ And I said, ‘What the hell are you talking about, you crazy woman?’ I definitely used fancy words.”

According to the athlete, his rocky start with Bre ended well anyway, because he “won” in the long run. “You lost me. That’s a loss,” she said in response.
