LS Digital Forms Joint Venture with .fearless

Prasad Shejale, Founder and CEO of LS Digital, an Indian integrated digital business transformation company, has announced a new joint venture with .fearless, a full-service marketing consulting firm in the US. The joint venture, called .fear-LS, aims to serve companies in the North American market by addressing the industry challenge of digital friction. Digital friction, or the operational disconnect in the customer journey, often makes it difficult for companies to optimize systems and processes, drive growth, and increase ROI.

.fear-LS combines the strengths of both companies to help businesses overcome these challenges. “Partnering with .fearless, a leader in marketing consulting and industry veterans in the US market, is a perfect fit for our global ambitions,” said Shejale. “Through this joint venture, we are excited to bring our innovative DBT (Digital Business Transformation) model, developed in India, to the world.”

In the first six months, .fear-LS aims to deliver 5-6 digital transformation products valued at $1.2-1.7 million, while planning to rapidly expand its presence and market share in the US.

The joint venture will initially target companies in the gaming, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and automotive sectors for digital transformation. Mike Head, a partner at .fearless, who will serve as CEO of the new joint venture, emphasized the importance of domestic expertise to improve credibility in the U.S. market. “We were impressed with LS Digital’s capabilities and their seriousness about entering the U.S. market,” Head said.

“The DBT category is growing rapidly in the U.S. The market is huge and the potential for customer acquisition is significant.”

Initially, .fear-LS will operate in Colorado, with resources to serve a broad geographic area that includes the Northeast, the New York metropolitan area, the tri-state region, Connecticut, and the Canadian market.

The joint venture will take a measured approach to scaling, with initial efforts focused on understanding market needs and fine-tuning the service offering. The launch of .fear-LS marks LS Digital’s first significant foray into the US market, following successful expansion into the UK, the Middle East and Australia. Shejale’s journey into digital marketing began in the early 90s, long before e-commerce took root in India.

An IIT Madras graduate, he initially worked in software development and back-end operations for e-commerce before moving into digital marketing. LS Digital positions itself at the intersection of media, technology and creative services, finding its niche when traditional advertising agencies began integrating technology into their creative offerings. The company has undergone a series of strategic acquisitions and operational restructurings to streamline its services and create holistic, data-driven solutions for brands.

As LS Digital continues its global expansion, the company remains committed to its vision of holistic digital transformation. With a combination of media, creative and technology expertise, as well as strategic acquisitions and partnerships, LS Digital is well-positioned to become a major player on the international stage.
