Nykaa ropes in Sukhleen Aneja to helm Kay Beauty

FSN E-Commerce Ventures-owned Nykaa has reportedly appointed The Good Glamm Group CEO Sukhleen Aneja as Senior Vice President and Business Head of Kay Beauty

As per a PTI report, Aneja’s role will focus on driving Kay Beauty’s growth in international markets after its successful launch in the Indian market.

Aneja, according to her LinkedIn profile, has been the CEO of the body care company The Good Glamm Group for almost three years.

As per a PTI report, the company said Aneja’s role will focus on driving Kay Beauty’s growth in international markets based on the brand’s successful launch in the Indian market.

“Sukhleen will also be responsible for Nyveda, an Ayurvedic science-based brand with universal appeal in India and abroad, and will also provide strategic direction for several young health and personal care brands,” the company was quoted as saying in the report.

Aneja, according to her LinkedIn profile, has been working at skincare company The Good Glamm Group for almost three years as CEO. Before that, she worked at Reckitt, the parent company of Dettol, for over eight years in various roles. She has also worked with brands like L’Oreal and Unilever in the marketing department.

This comes right after Nykaa strong Q1 results announced a few weeks ago. The company’s consolidated net profit grew by almost 152% to INR 13.6 Cr in the June quarter (Q1) of FY25 from INR 5.4 Cr in the previous year.

The company’s operating revenue increased by 22.8% to INR 1,746.1 Cr in the reported quarter from INR 1,421.8 Cr in Q1 FY24.

The new vocation also fits in with lawsuit a lawsuit filed by the company against Tata Cliq CEO Gopal Asthana for allegedly breaching confidentiality, misappropriating company-proprietary data and sabotaging its business.
