Warming and lots of sunshine are expected over the next few days

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Sunshine will dominate the region over the next few days with temperatures expected to rise through mid-week.

Tonight will be a bit chilly, with lows in the upper 40s. Skies will remain mostly clear.

Tomorrow temperatures will rise into the lower 80s. Mostly sunny skies will persist with a light wind from the south, bringing warmer air to the area.

Sunday night will be another quiet night for the area. Temperatures will drop into the mid-50s and skies will be mostly clear.

Monday is expected to see more sunshine throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid-80s. The day is expected to be a bit breezy, with wind gusts up to 25 mph from the south.

Temperatures on Tuesday will reach the upper 80s, potentially reaching the low 90s on Wednesday. A few clouds are possible, but we can expect plenty of sunshine for most of the workweek.

On Thursday, partly cloudy skies are possible, with maximum temperatures reaching around 27°C.

On Friday evening and Saturday there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms.
