When he’s not busy discovering the next stock market bubble, legendary hedge fund manager Jeremy Grantham is searching for the next breakthrough in renewable energy.

Allegro Energy, a company that claims to be a pioneer in the development of water-based energy storage systems, has rejected a Series A funding proposal, raising $17.5 million in a funding round led by a well-known investor’s foundation, Street Talk found.
