Colin Dai Appointed GPA Sales Director for China

Just months after announcing e-commerce services for Royal Mail at Air Cargo China, Glasgow Prestwick Airport (GPA) has appointed Colin Dai as Country Sales Director, China. His responsibilities include supporting and developing the airport’s e-commerce operations. He joins GPA from Trip.com Group where he was Senior Director, Global Partnerships, Marketing and Business Development. He previously held sales and marketing positions with Singapore Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and Qatar Airways, all based in Shanghai, China. As such, he has a solid background in aviation and e-commerce and brings with him a strong local network. This will support GPA’s strategy to promote its services in the Chinese e-commerce industry as it aims to become the UK’s leading international e-commerce hub. It offers 24/7 operations and fast turnover, and has recently invested over £2 million in new cargo equipment.
