Dexter: Original Sin: Patrick Dempsey and Sarah Michelle Gellar Prequel Teasers Released

Patrick Dempsey and Sarah Michelle Gellar are heading back to the ’90s in a new prequel series to Showtime’s hit serial killer Dexter. Entertainment Weekly has now revealed exclusive photos from the upcoming sequel. Here, you can see Dempsey’s new look as Captain Aaron Spencer, the head of the Miami Metro Police Department’s homicide division. You can also see Gellar’s look as Tanya Martin, the head of the CSI. Both characters are Dexter’s new bosses when he starts his forensics internship at Miami Metro Pd.

Gellar jokingly notes, “It’s funny — I think it’s a different ’90s than the one I knew, because I was like, ‘I don’t remember that haircut.’ But I was playing a teenager in the ’90s, not an adult in a business environment, so maybe that’s how people dressed in the ’90s. Maybe that’s how they wore their hair.
