VINTED has gone down for thousands of users, preventing them from buying and selling items.

Users of the popular second-hand clothing app reported the issue to Downdetector this morning.

The problem peaked at 8:50 a.m. when more than 3,000 customers reported problems with the app.

About 83% of customers said they were unable to use the app. Many of them took the matter to X, formerly Twitter.

One user said: “Does anyone else have a broken Vinted?? I have packages to send.”

Another said: “Why is Vinted inactive when I told buyers I would send them a package this morning?”

A third joked: “Vinted is down, or is it my bank account saying it’s down?”

The Sun has contacted Vinted for comment.

Michael Foote, editor-in-chief of financial comparison site Quotegoat.com, said: “The unavailability of Vinted is more than just an inconvenience – it’s a financial headache for countless users.

“For sellers, especially those who rely on the platform as a source of income, this downtime is incredibly frustrating.”

“Payments for recent transactions are delayed and sellers are unable to list new items, severely affecting their sources of income.

“For many, it’s not just a hobby; it’s an important side hustle that supports their financial well-being.”

He added: It’s bad news for shoppers, too. Because Vinted is offline, people who rely on it to find cheap used items are forced to look elsewhere — often at higher prices.

“Meanwhile, customers with ongoing disputes or problems have been left without assistance.”

Vinted first launched in the UK in 2014 but only became a household name during the pandemic.

It has around 16 million users in the UK and registration is completely free.
