Otto Addo makes two changes as Inaki Williams returns to the starting line-up against Niger

Coach Otto Addo has made two changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s Africa Cup of Nations Group F qualifier against Niger in Berkane, with Majeed Ashimeru and Inaki Williams being named in place of Elisha Owusu and Jordan Ayew.

The defence remains unchanged, with Tariq Lamptey and Alidu Seidu set to play as full-backs, while Salisu Mohammed and Abdul Mumin will partner in central defence.

Captain Thomas Partey will lead the team from deep alongside Majeed Ashimreou and Mohammed Kudus, while Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo and Inaki Williams will play up front.

The Black Stars will be looking for a win to get back on track in qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations following Thursday’s defeat to Angola.

The match is scheduled for 16:00. Kick-off at the Berkane Municipal Stadium on Monday, September 9, 2024.
