Copenhagen hosts first-ever Nordic-Indian startup summit to drive international innovation

Copenhagen is hosting the inaugural Nordic-India Startup Summit, a milestone in bilateral cooperation between Denmark and India. Hosted in the heart of the Danish capital by TechBBQ, together with Innovation Centre Denmark Bangalore, the summit aims to usher in a new era of transnational innovation.

The event brings together a diverse and influential mix of participants, including pioneering startups, visionary investors, business leaders and government officials. The summit highlights key sectors ripe for collaboration, such as green technologies, life sciences and the circular economy. These areas are crucial not only for economic growth but also for solving global challenges.

Freddy Svane, Ambassador of Denmark to India, highlighted the importance of the summit in increasing understanding of innovation ecosystems and paving the way for joint ventures.
