Beats Drums Up Apple iPhone 16 case in four different colors

Apple announced the new iPhone 16 series during a live event on Monday, which means shoppers will be looking for protective cases to go with their sleek new phones. Beats, Apple’s music-focused subsidiary known for its headphones and earbuds, is now getting into the iPhone decorating business. The new Beats line of cases is designed to match the special features of the iPhone 16.

“We’re excited to introduce the first iPhone case designed by Beats,” said Oliver Schusser, vice president of Beats, in a press release. “Beats has always been synonymous with exceptional style and vibrant colors, and our new cases are the perfect way to complement the new iPhone 16 line.”

More from the Apple event

The cases support the iPhone 16’s camera control feature using “sapphire glass bonded to a conductive layer that communicates finger movements.” Built-in magnets enable the MagSafe wireless charging case. The cases cost $49 and are available for all versions of the iPhone 16 in the Apple online store.

The new Apple phones will be available for pre-order from September 13, and will be available in stores from September 20.
