Fortnite’s new Doctor Doom update has the potential to turn you into a living, breathing boss, with giant laser beams and an even bigger health bar

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 just got even more chaotic with Doctor Doom’s all-new, incredibly powerful power that has the potential to turn one player in the game into a nigh-unstoppable killing machine.

According to yesterday’s update, Fortnite Quests for Battle Pass holders to unlock Doctor Doom’s skin and cosmetics are available now, but there’s also a significant change to the main Battle Royale mode. Namely, until October 5 at 1:30 PM ET/ 10:30 AM PT/ 6:30 PM BST, in the unranked Battle Royale mode, there’s a small chance that Loot Island (a place that gives you a ton of cool weapons and items if you manage to capture the flag there) will be replaced by the Isle of Doom. Instead of a flag to capture, it houses Doom’s Cauldron, which – when captured – will transform you or one of your teammates into Doom’s Chosen.
