Highlighting the shopping patterns, the study found that around 60 per cent of customers shop in advance, 24 per cent combine planned purchases with occasional last-minute purchases, and 16 per cent are pure last-minute shoppers.

The study found that nearly 50 percent of consumers use influencer affiliate links when shopping for popular products, and about 70 percent of consumers follow influencers on social media to get product reviews and purchasing information.

The report further states that positive reviews have become an important factor influencing online shopping on Meesho as nearly 54 percent of shoppers find reviews helpful. Meanwhile, 43 percent of shoppers prioritize high-quality content and detailed product information.

As for retailers, the report found that 65 percent are preparing for the holiday season by introducing new products, while others are adding new categories and investing in retailer advertising.
