Malaika’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan arrived at the actress’ residence to offer his condolences.

Malaika once revealed that she was just 11 when her parents split up. She said, “I had a wonderful childhood, but it wasn’t easy. Actually, looking back, I would use the word ‘turbulent’. But tough times teach you important lessons too.”

The actress added, “My parents’ separation allowed me to observe my mother through a new and unique lens.
