Costco Recall: Don’t Eat These 2 Costco Products

Costco announced the recall of two food items.

The retailer has recalled Rock River Cattle Co.’s Kodiak Power Waffles and Smokey Hibachi Seasoned Beef Steaks.

According to Costo’s announcement, Kodiack Cakes, LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of certain Kodiak Powe Waffles, Buttermilk & Vanilla 40 count boxes due to the potential presence of soft plastic wrap. The recalled products have a UPC code of 705599019203 and a “Sell By” date of January 10, 2026.

Skylark Meats, LLC, the manufacturer of Rock River Cattle Co., has initiated a voluntary recall of Smokey Hibachi Skirt Steaks due to the lack of allergen ingredients on the label. According to the company, the product contains soy, wheat, and sesame. The potential risk is only for consumers with allergies or sensitivities to soy, wheat, or sesame. No adverse reactions have been reported from consuming these products. The recalled products have a “Sell By” date of September 13, 2024.
