Miami Dolphins teammates Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane were two of the breakout fantasy football players last year, which is why they’ve been surrounded by a lot of hype this season.

Unfortunately for those who drafted them, injury concerns, which were always a concern for both players, became a problem after just one match.

Mostert was ruled out for Thursday against the Buffalo Bills with a pectoral strain, and Achane is expected to be a game-time decision with an ankle strain. Although Achane returned to practice on Wednesday, his uncertain status on short notice will have fantasy managers scrambling for backup RB options.

Fortunately, the Dolphins have a few alternatives in Jeff Wilson Jr. and Jaylen Wright.

Wilson is a seven-year veteran who actually led the Dolphins in rushing last week with 26 yards on five carries. And he’s on the roster in only 9% of Yahoo leagues. Wright was inactive in Week 1, but he was the fourth overall pick in this year’s draft and many fantasy players expected him to have a bigger impact this year than Wilson, as he’s on the roster in 24% of leagues.

Personally I’d go with the guy who actually played this year. But both are good options if you can only get one or the other.
