Work on new Daniels School of Business building to continue this month – Administrative Operations

September 12, 2024 | For the Campus and Community

Work on the new Daniels School of Business building will begin this month

Construction on the new Daniels School of Business building will continue this month. The new building will connect to the Krannert Building to the east. It will provide the school with three connected facilities, connecting the Krannert Building and Jerry S. Rawls Hall.

Fencing has already been installed around the former Wesley Foundation building. The fencing will soon be extended around the rest of the building. This will include the Krannert Center for Executive Education and Research (KTCR) and will impact neighboring buildings—the Krannert Building (KRAN), Young Hall (YONG), and Hawkins Hall (HAWK).

Construction of the fence will close sidewalks along the south side of Mitch Daniels Boulevard and the east side of Sheets Street.

Additionally, the lower level of the Graduate House Parking Garage (PGGH) will be closed on September 30th to begin utility work. The upper level of the garage will remain open until mid-November. At that time, the garage will be completely closed while demolition work begins. Drivers should follow signs regarding these parking modifications. Those with “A” parking permits may park in the Wood Street Parking Garage (PGW) and Marsteller. Those with “A” permits and garage access cards may also access the Grant Street Parking Garage (PGG).

Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists should exercise caution in this area and follow all signs and detours.

Questions regarding the project can be directed to Drew Furry, Project Manager, at [email protected]. Questions regarding parking can be directed to Parking Facilities at 765-494-9497 or [email protected] between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The lobby closes at 4:00 p.m.

Work will continue this month on the new Daniels School of Business building.
