E-commerce company Flipkart is equipping sellers on its platform with tools to effectively meet festival season demand ahead of the 11th edition of The Big Billion Days.

Flipkart successfully held seller meetups across nine major cities in India as part of its pan-India initiative, creating business growth opportunities for over 1.4 million entrepreneurs and sellers.

The on-site seller meet was attended by over 4500 sellers from Hyderabad, Jaipur, Surat, Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ludhiana and Tirupur, which showed their confidence in Flipkart’s continuous support and efforts towards their empowerment.

These sessions were designed to provide in-depth insight into customer demand, purchasing patterns and growth plans.

“We are equipping them with valuable insights and strategies to help them succeed in the 11th edition of The Big Billion Days,” said Sakait Chaudhary, Chief Business Officer, Marketplace, Flipkart.

Flipkart is kicking off the festival period with a ‘Big Small Stuff Sale’ starting on September 15.
