Mumbai (Maharashtra) (India), September 14: Key Venture Investor Forum (KVIF) continues to support exceptional healthcare startups with its recent investment in Newmi Care. The $1.5 Mn round was led by Sprout Venture Partners and also included leading family offices, LetsVenture, Sarcha Advisors and maquee angels.

This is KVIF’s third investment, following investments in FlexifyMe, a technology platform for chronic pain management, and Knorish, a Gen-AI-powered content monetization suite.

Newmi Care is an outpatient care platform focused on women’s health and well-being. The company addresses the need for quality OPD care for women through a triad of OPD clinics, insurance products, and a digital marketplace. Since its inception in May 2022, Newmi has served over 60,000 women across 400 cities in India, covering health issues such as menstruation, sexual and hormonal health, fertility and motherhood, menopause, and female reproductive cancers.

Newmi has introduced many firsts in the market including OPD insurance products for women with leading insurers. They currently have 10 clinics operating in Delhi/NCR.

This round of capital injection will fund the expansion of Newmi’s clinic for women in northern and western India, the recruitment of talented staff and the development of technology.

“Our mission is to simplify outpatient care for women in India and bring women’s health to the forefront. This infusion of capital is a step towards moving us closer to solving the challenge of women’s health at scale in India,” said Sanchit and Aditi, founders of Newmi Care.

Maneesh Bhandari, CEO of GrowthPal and Investor Forum member shared his thoughts, “I am very excited to be a part of the journey with Newmi founders, Sanchit and Aditi. Women’s health requires focused, specialized and continuous proactive attention and this, along with the passion of the founders and their personal and professional experiences, makes this venture unique.

Key Venture played a key role in evaluating, syndicating and facilitating the investment for Newmi, and our group of investors through KVIF had a very pleasant and candid experience working with the entire Key Venture team.”

Nidhi Saraf, CEO and Co-Founder of Key Venture, “Newmi’s payer-provider model delivers patient-centric solutions across the value chain, driving value for both patients and healthcare providers. This unique proposition, combined with the founding team’s expertise in strategy and building consumer brands, positions the company for profitable hypergrowth.”

Key Venture’s investment banking practice served as financial advisor to Newmi Care.
