Mariah Carey Shares Photos of Twins Moroccan and Monroe on the Great Wall of China

Mariah Carey makes memories with her kids!

On Saturday, September 14, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, 55, shared several photos of herself and her 13-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, posing together on the Great Wall of China in Beijing.

To walk with the two teens to the memorial — and embrace them for a sweet family photo — the “Fantasy” singer went for a stunning look in a black dress, butterfly jewelry, oversized sunglasses, and heels, something she later regretted, as she revealed on X (formerly Twitter).

“On the Great Wall of China! Someone should have warned me about the heels 👠,” Carey wrote alongside three photos from the trip.

She noted that she probably would have chosen style over comfort anyway, adding parenthetically, “not that I would have listened.”

Her twins, meanwhile, opted for more casual outfits while visiting the monument: Moroccan wore a graphic T-shirt and loose shorts, while Monroe looked stunning in Olivia Rodrigo’s tour clothes.

Carey captioned the same photos on Instagram, “This is seriously amazing! 🦋.”

Elsewhere in the Great Wall photos, Carey can be seen looking over her sunglasses at the sprawling monument, raising her hand and smiling broadly.

The twins, whom the five-time Grammy winner shares with ex-partner Nick Cannon, have yet to document their trip on social media — they each have their own Instagram accounts.

Earlier this year, they each posted a photo of their mother on their accounts, paying her a heartfelt tribute on Mother’s Day.

Moroccan marked the holiday with a carousel of old photos and a long message to his mother that began: “Mom, every moment with you is a precious memory. Your love and support have carried me through difficult and wonderful times. The warmth of your embrace and wise words have helped me face challenges with hope.”

Monroe also shared a series of throwback photos to honor her mom on her special day, but simply captioned her post, “happy mothers day to the best mom in the world!! 🫶 @mariahcarey.”
