While Tran could confidently say “of course” she was asked out, she admitted she wasn’t ready to date yet following her split from her ex-fiancé, 28.

“I honestly can’t,” she began. “I think about the hottest guy in the world—if Jayson Tatum, my celebrity crush, came up to me and asked me out, I don’t think I could say yes yet because it would be chaotic. But if he wanted to go on a date with a friend, I would.”

Viall chimed in, saying he didn’t think reaching for the coffee would be too much of a mess, but Tran insisted it would still be too much, too soon.

“I feel like I’m in a place where I’m going to have some trust issues for a while to be transparent here,” she said, referring to “releasing private text messages,” adding that she’s “going to need some time to get through that.”

“It was a serious violation of my privacy. It’s hard to come to terms with,” Tran added.

However, as she said, despite continuing her treatment process, that doesn’t mean the 26-year-old Boston Celtics star “can’t hop into my DMs.”

As the conversation turned to Tatum, Tran learned that he was already off the market and was apparently dating Grammy winner Ella Mai. They have reportedly been dating since 2020.

Armed with this new knowledge, Tran quickly changed her choice.

“I’m so sorry, Ella,” the reality star said. “You know what? I’m changing my favorite celebrity. Max Strus, if you’re out there and you’re single, I’m here and I’m ready.”
