Former Telstra cyber chief Glenn Chisholm plans unicorn Obsidian Security’s return to Australia

The $1 billion California-based startup, founded by a former Telstra cybersecurity chief, has poached two CrowdStrike executives in a bid to break into the Australian market and convince big local businesses that its software can protect them from hackers.

Glenn Chisholm, Telstra’s first chief information security officer, is co-founder of Obsidian Security, a seven-year-old cybersecurity startup that has raised more than $US119 million ($A177 million) from Silicon Valley venture capital firms.
