The China International Trade Fair for Services (CIFTIS) 2024 opened in Beijing on September 12 under the theme of “Global Services, Shared Prosperity.” France, the honorary country of the fair, opened a special national pavilion there to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.

French champagne brand Cattier made its debut at this year’s fair, and it caught the attention of many visitors. As a 400-year-old family business and a prominent player in France’s agriculture and wine sectors, Cattier hopes to bring a touch of French romance to China’s increasingly exclusive customer base with its unique line of champagne products.

France has a long history of producing some of the world’s best wines. The Cattier family plants vineyards in Chignyles-Roses, located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims in France. Meanwhile, the China-Europe Chang’an freight train plays an important role as the safest and most efficient route for Cattier products to the Chinese market. (Xinhua/Gao Jing)
