AWS Accelerator Program: Amazon Selects Seven Indian Startups for Global Accelerator Program: See What They Are Doing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has selected seven Indian startups specializing in generative AI for its global accelerator program. Among the 80 companies selected by AWS for the global AI program are seven Indian startups: Convrse, House of Models, Neural Garage, Orbo.ai, Phot.ai, Unscript AI, and Zocket.

Let’s take a look at what these startups are doing:

  • Conversation: Founded in 2021 by Anshul Padyal, Vishesh Khatri, and Vikrant Singh, Convrse is an AI-powered tool that optimizes complex 3D objects or scenes and prepares them for online or real-time execution. The startup, which serves companies in sectors like gaming, architecture, manufacturing, healthcare, and simulation, claims to be the world’s first intelligent 3D mesh optimizer.
  • House of Models: Bengaluru-based House of Models uses large language models (LLMs) and diffuser models to generate digital content for brands and businesses, including images, videos, and product descriptions.
  • Neural Garage: The startup uses GenAI to lip-sync actors with dubbing in movies, streaming, ads, and broadcasts, offering a smooth viewing experience without losing the cinematic experience.
  • Orbo.ai: Founded in 2019, the Mumbai-based startup leverages GenAI to deliver hyper-personalization and contextual search solutions for the beauty and personal care industry. Founded by Manoj Shinde, Danish Jamil, and Abhit Sinha in 2019, the startup provides data on facial attributes, skin tone, and imperfections to provide tailored results.
  • Photo.ai: Founded in 2022 by Akshit Raja and Venus Dhuria, Phot.ai is an AI-powered platform that simplifies photo editing and graphic design with a variety of tools designed to help online retailers optimize their workflows.
  • Unscripted AI: Unscript AI is a SaaS marketing tool that uses generative AI to create studio-quality videos with real or virtual actors, without the cost and time of physical recording. It was founded by Ritwika Chowdhury in 2021 with the goal of enabling companies to create more personalized and impactful customer experiences.
  • Socket: Founded in 2021 by Karthik Venkateswaran, Mukund Srivathsan, Nandha Kumar Ravi, and Sundar Natesan, Zocket simplifies digital advertising by using generative AI to create, target, and analyze ads, making it easier for businesses of all sizes to manage and optimize their campaigns.

About the AWS GenAI Accelerator Program

Selected startups will receive up to $1 million in AWS credits to develop, train, test, and deploy their generative AI solutions. The credits can be used on Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock, tools for developing and deploying generative AI applications. To further leverage ML and AI technologies, startups can also leverage a variety of AWS services to support their growth, including AWS compute, storage, and database technologies, as well as AI chips like AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia 2, the company said. “At AWS, our $230 million commitment and the global expansion of the Generative AI Accelerator reflect our continued focus on helping startups develop, build, and scale their unique ideas using generative AI,” said Amitabh Nagpal, head of startup business development at AWS India.
