Information Technology Stocks Fall | Capital Market News

Information technology shares were trading lower, with the BSE Information Technology index down 27.01 points, or 0.06 per cent, at 43,957.13 by 1:39 pm IST.

Among the BSE Information Technology components, top losers were 63 Moons Technologies Ltd (down 5%), NELCO Ltd (down 3.39%), KPIT Technologies Ltd (down 2.5%), Moschip Technologies Ltd (down 2.21%), Birlasoft Ltd (down 2.01%). Other losers were Nucleus Software Exports Ltd (down 1.55%), Zensar Technologies Ltd (down 1.51%), Vakrangee Ltd (down 1.44%), Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (down 1.28%) and R Systems International Ltd (down 1.09%).

On the other hand, shares of Cressanda Railway Solutions Ltd (up 4.96%), Netweb Technologies India Ltd (up 2.54%) and D-Link India Ltd (up 1.44%) saw gains.

At 1:39 pm IST, the BSE SmallCap index was up 152.92, or 0.27 per cent, at 57,280.96.

The BSE 150 MidCap index rose 42.03 points or 0.25 per cent to 17,018.37.

The Nifty 50 index rose 43.95 points or 0.17% to 25,400.45.

The BSE Sensex rose 142.61 points or 0.17 per cent to 83,033.55.

On the BSE, 2,175 stocks were traded in green, 1,855 in red and 115 remained unchanged.
