In his new position, he will support MGA’s insurance operations and insurance partner development.

Duncan Pritchard, founder and managing director of Commercial Express, said: “(Anthony’s) extensive experience in underwriting, combined with his in-depth knowledge of MGAs and the wider insurance sector, will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand our product offering to brokers.”

“Driving Future Growth”

Prior to joining Commercial Express, Anthony was Commercial Director for Acrisure UK Retail for 16 months from May 2023 to August 2024.

He also previously founded a Croydon-based MGA called MGAM in August 2015, which focused on the London and provincial markets. He left that company in May 2023.

Anthony also worked at Gallagher’s insurance agency, OIM Underwriting, formerly as Managing Director, a position he stepped down from in February 2015 after seven years of service.

He began his career in the insurance industry in April 1989 as a claims officer at QBE Insurance.

Speaking about his new position, Anthony said: “I am extremely excited to join such an innovative and forward-thinking team at Commercial Express.

“With the expertise and experience I have gained throughout my career, I am confident that I can play a key role in driving the company’s future growth.”
