Microsoft cancels plans for redesigned Edge browser: What the company has to say

Microsoft has confirmed it is moving away from launching redesigned Edge browser, which it unveiled in February last year. The preview of the browser suggested rounded tabs and was announced at the same event where the premiere took place Bing Chatservice whose name has been changed to Co-pilot.

What did the Microsoft Edge browser redesign involve?

During the event, Microsoft’s Yusef Mehdi announced that Edge will be getting a refreshed look, including rounded tabs that will essentially make Edge look different compared to Google Chrome
“We just updated the Edge browser with a new look and feel… it’s sleeker and lighter,” he said at the time.
