E-commerce majors to kick off annual holiday sales next week

E-commerce giants Flipkart, Amazon India, Myntra and Meesho have announced that their annual festive sales will begin next week.

Flipkart and Amazon will first offer early access to their paid subscribers and then open the sale to all customers.

“The Big Billion Days (TBBD) 2024 will be available for every shopper from September 27, 2024. 24-hour early access for VIP and Flipkart Plus customers will start from September 26, 2024,” Flipkart said in a statement.

Flipkart said it is prepared to meet the festival demand by providing same-day delivery across over 2 lakh product categories across 20+ cities for The Big Billion Days 2024.

Similarly, Amazon India will launch its annual Amazon Great Indian Festival (AGIF) festive sale based on a similar approach.

“The Amazon Great Indian Festival (AGIF) will kick off on September 27, 2024, and Prime members will be able to access it 24 hours earlier,” the company said in a statement.

Myntra has announced that its Big Fashion Festival (BFF) will kick off on September 26, 2024, with boAt as the title sponsor. This edition will showcase around 3.4 million styles, a 47% increase over the previous year.

Myntra Insider loyalty programme members will get early access to the Big Fashion Festival 24 hours before the general public, starting September 25, Myntra said in a statement.

And Meesho today announced that the Meesho Mega Blockbuster Sale will begin on September 27, 2024. With over 20 lakh sellers and 12 crore product listings across 30 categories, Meesho aims to make holiday shopping more accessible, affordable, and convenient for shoppers across the country.
