Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom has sparked a lot of speculation about how Marvel’s leading villain will be developed in the MCU with so little time between now and Avengers: Doomsday , but there is one way Doom could squeeze out some of the emotional baggage from Avengers: Endgame and the Infinity Saga by coming face-to-face with Chris Evans’ Captain America.

Since the end of Avengers: Endgame, there has been a demand among fans for Steve to return the stones and Mjolnir to their proper places in the timeline. After this, Steve was supposed to date Peggy Carter, meaning the character could have survived some very scary times in history without having to interfere, which may be a bit out of character for Steve Rogers.
