SOFTSWISS: “Most of the 1,000 brands using our software have customers from Europe”

The development of regulations is a major focus for iGaming, with fears of stricter restrictions fueling the growth of the grey zone. Online gaming solutions provider SOFTSWISS believes its expertise can help lawmakers create responsible legislation this includes input from player associations, operators and technology companies to ensure a balanced approach.

SOFTSWISS is ready to take part in SBC Summit 2024, scheduled for September 24-26 at Feira Internacional De Lisboa. The company will present its new Lotto Software and Retail Betting Solutions at the event, with the soon-to-be-launched Horse Racing Platform.

The event is just around the corner, Jogonet I spoke with Max Trafimowicz, Sales Director at SOFTSWISSto discuss the company’s latest developments and plans for the upcoming event.

What major trends do you see gaining popularity in online gaming?

Development of regulations will undoubtedly remain a major trend in iGaming for the foreseeable future. Industry leaders are concerned about regulatory trends towards tightening and restrictions that will lead to the growth of the grey market segmentThat is why I am convinced that technology companies with deep expertise can contribute positively to the development of legislation.

We have gained a lot of experience and we are ready to share it. It would be valuable if among the legislators who developed the regulations were players’ associations represents responsible gaming and leading industry stakeholders such as operators and technology companies.

How would you describe the company’s current position in the European market? Who are some of your main customers in the region?

I am pleased to say that the European market is familiar to us. Our company started its journey in this market and we feel comfortable here. Most of the 1,000 brands using our software have customers that come from Europe to a greater or lesser extent. SOFTSWISS software is certified and licensed in many European markets, such as: Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Serbia and Romania.

However, We are closely monitoring regulatory updates around the worldnot just focusing on Europe. We are doing our best to adopt our technologies and business models, and even develop our mental frameworks to succeed in new markets.

What new products and services will the company present and highlight at SBC in Lisbon?

The last few months have been really fruitful when it comes to announcing the premieres of our new products. We have done a lot together with Turfsportleading South African software vendor, which was acquired by SOFTSWISS less than a year ago. In August we presented SOFTSWISS Lotto software and SOFTSWISS Retail Betting SolutionsSeptember is to be the month of announcing the solution for Horse racing.

Lotto software supports an impressive number of popular lottery draws worldwide and integrates seamlessly with existing iGaming and retail ecosystemsThe platform is optimized for desktop and mobile devices, allowing players to place custom bets or quick bets on a variety of bet types.

This Retail betting solution supports a variety of betting optionsincluding lotteries, casino games and sports betting. It provides operators with real-time risk monitoring and custom reporting. The solution is available in customizable configurations to suit different bookmaker setups.

To sum up, new products provide operators with flexible and secure options to expand its lottery and land-based betting offerings and to expand its business.

Could you share the company’s most important goals for the rest of the year?

In fact, this year was fruitful for us in terms of acquisitions and valuable new partnerships. We have entered many new marketsboth in terms of GEO and product development. entered the South African market with the acquisition of TurfsportSOFTSWISS also opened new segments such as social casinos, lotteries, retail betting and horse racing.

This opens up new, vast horizons for us and leads us towards more ambitious goals. We need to strengthen our position in new markets and sustain the desire to seek and develop new directions.
