When will Deadpool and Wolverine be streaming?

Still eagerly waiting to watch “Deadpool & Wolverine” at home? Fans might not have to wait much longer.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” introduced both title heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. Disney acquired the rights to the characters after buying 21st Century Fox, which released the first two “Deadpool” movies.

According to When to Stream, the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is expected to hit digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, Oct. 1. While the streaming tracker usually provides reliable reports, it noted that Walt Disney Studios or Marvel has not officially confirmed the date so it could change. Streaming tracker DVD Releases also reported that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ will premiere on PVOD on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” will be released on Disney+. The complete Marvel Studios catalog is on streaming service. However, don’t expect to watch it anytime soon. No release date for the streaming service has been announced.

How did audiences, critics receive ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’?

The film earned $211 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend and broke several records, including the largest opening for an R-rated movie.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” — which opened in theaters on July 26 — has grossed $621 million domestically and $683 million in international ticket sales for a worldwide box office tally of $1.3 billion to date, according to The Numbers.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” has a 79% score on Rotten Tomatoes; one review said, “Ryan Reynolds makes himself at home in the MCU with acerbic wit while Hugh Jackman provides an Adamantium backbone to proceedings in Deadpool & Wolverine, an irreverent romp with a surprising soft spot for a bygone era of superhero movies.”
