Ozon Global Hosts 2nd Annual Entrepreneurs Forum in Istanbul

Ozon Global, Russia’s largest cross-border e-commerce platform, plans to hold its second COM.E ON Forum in Istanbul next week.

The aim of the event is to help Turkish entrepreneurs better understand cross-border e-commerce between Turkey and Russia and provide tips on how to sell successfully in the Russian market.

The forum will feature discussions led by Hazal Maraş, Director of Ozon Global Türkiye, and will feature various experts who will discuss the future of Turkish-Russian e-commerce.

Ozon Global will also showcase new initiatives to support Turkish merchants and share key tips on how to succeed on the platform.

Entrepreneurs will be able to participate in live discussions and benefit from practical advice from Ozon Global specialists, market partners and successful Turkish sellers who are already operating in the Russian market.

Other speakers included: Melis Yüksel, Director of Data Strategy and Management at Ozon Global Türkiye; Yiğit Yavuz, Director of Electronics Category; Orxan Isayev, CEO of ShopiVerse and Board Member of WORLDEF; Maria Tretyakova, Sales Director of GBS; and Çetin Tahir Izancı, Sales and Customer Service Director at PTS.

Turkish retailers double their revenue

Last year’s forum was attended by over 500 Turkish entrepreneurs, which helped many of them enter the Russian market and increase their sales.

Since opening its Istanbul office in August 2022, Ozon Global has been actively cooperating with Turkish companies.

In the second quarter of this year, Turkish sellers on the platform doubled their revenue compared to the previous year, and Ozon Global buyers placed 2.2 times more orders from Turkey.
