THE LEGEND OF LARA CROFT Trailer Reveals Exciting New Look at the Adventure Series Starring Hayley Atwell

As part of Geeked Week, Netflix has released the official trailer for the feature-length film Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croftgiving us a broader view of one of the most exciting animated series on offer.

Continuation of the events from the acclaimed series Survivor video game trilogy – Tomb Raider, The Rise of the Tomb RaiderAND Shadow of the Tomb Raider – the new series tells the story of Lara Croft (Hayley Atwell), who sets off on a series of increasingly dangerous solo adventures.

However, “Lara must return home when a dangerous and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with unusual personal connections. Her daring quest will take her around the world and deep into forgotten tombs, where she will be forced to confront her true self and decide what kind of hero she wants to become.“

In addition to Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger; Avengers: Endgame; Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning) takes on the title role, with a supporting cast that includes Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon reprising his role as Jonah Maiava from the video games.

TOMB RAIDER: THE LEGEND OF LARA CROFT, an animated series that picks up after the events of the critically acclaimed Survivor trilogy (Tomb Raider; Rise of the Tomb Raider; Shadow of the Tomb Raider), will present the next chapter in the globetrotting heroine’s story as an iconic adventurer. More than 25 years after her first appearance, Lara Croft (voiced by Hayley Atwell) continues to uncover ancient mysteries and lost truths in breathtaking and dangerous locations.

Following the events of the Survivor series, Lara Croft has abandoned her friends to embark on increasingly dangerous solo adventures. But she is forced to return home when a dangerous and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with incredible personal connections. Her bold quest will take her around the world and deep into forgotten tombs, where she will be forced to confront her true self and decide what kind of hero she wants to become.

The all-new Netflix animated series features the voices of Hayley Atwell (Lara Croft), Allen Maldonado (Zip), Earl Baylon (reprising his role as Jonah from the Tomb Raider video games). Additional voices to be announced.
