Blues announce preseason streaming schedule

The St. Louis Blues today announced a diverse lineup of streaming options for their 2024 preseason schedule, designed to provide hockey fans with greater flexibility to watch select Blues games live, wherever and however they want.

In addition to the live streams on the Blues App and stlouisblues.com featured for select games in previous preseason periods, the Blues have signed a working agreement with A Parent Media Co. (APMC), owner of the newly formed Victory+, to add select preseason broadcasts to its free, direct-to-consumer streaming platform. The new network will officially launch its first live sports broadcast on Saturday, September 21, opening the Blues’ preseason game in Dallas.

“We couldn’t be more excited that all the pieces of the puzzle have come together to reach more Blues fans with a wide range of streaming options to watch the start of what promises to be an exciting season of Blues hockey,” said Chris Zimmerman, Blues President and General Manager of Business Operations. “The opportunity to add an emerging streaming platform like Victory+ to our existing preseason streaming mix comes at the perfect time, providing a platform that is free to users and expands our ability to meet our fans where they are and how they want to consume our games.

“We look forward to returning to Bally Sports to broadcast the regular season and first round of the playoffs in 2024-25. We are making progress toward providing our fans with full local broadcast details prior to the start of the regular season.”

In all, six of the Blues’ seven preseason games this year are currently scheduled to be broadcast live, with the sole exception of an Oct. 5 matchup against Chicago in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While the neutral-site matchup against Utah in Des Moines, Iowa on Sept. 22 will be streamed only on the Blues App and stlouisblues.com, the remaining five broadcasts will also be available for free on Victory+ to stream live and on-demand for 72 hours to fans in the Blues’ regional television area.
