Court files reveal new details on slain CSU professor

HUDSON, Ohio (WOIO) – Court documents obtained by 19 News reveal a chilling timeline of events leading to the murder of CSU professor Todd Morgan.

A dating app encounter, a late-night visit, and a brutal crime scene paint a disturbing picture of what transpired.

On April 19th, 2023, a 911 hang-up call came from Terreoionna Paschal’s phone.

Later Hudson police officers conducted a welfare check. They found Morgan lying in a pool of his own blood, shot seven times.

The crime scene was chaotic: shell casings, wine bottles, bloody footprints, and evidence that Paschal had been in Morgan’s bedroom.

Records show the pair met on Bumble, chatted for a few days, and Morgan invited her over.

Investigators also discovered Paschal was a prostitute, with messages in the court records hinting at her fees.

Phone records place Paschal at Morgan’s home shortly after midnight.

At 7:04 AM, Morgan sent her $50 on Cash App. Minutes later, guns rang out.

Digital clues led police to Paschal. She had discarded her phone and made suspicious Google searches about what information Apple shares with authorities.

She also Googled her own name over 40 times and obsessively checked news articles about the murder.

Paschal guilty to aggravated murder and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 23 years.
