Chand emphasises how important it is for women entrepreneurs to diversify their businesses by switching to e-commerce.

“In five years, in ten years, everyone will want to shop online. Nobody will want to go out and not buy products. That’s why we’re providing this free opportunity from now on, so that in the future, when this is really over, you’ll have your online store on VitiKart.”

Chand adds that to meet customer requirements, the VitiKart team will review products and companies to ensure that the right products are advertised online.

She adds that by embracing e-commerce, women owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can not only improve their own economic prospects, but also make a significant contribution to the development of their communities and the broader economy.
