During the tour the Deputy Chief Minister will visit the headquarters of leading companies and meet with investors at the international expo related to mining and green power sectors.

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with a team of officials left for a tour of the United States of America and Japan on Saturday to attract investments and to study mining and green power sectors there.

According to a statement issued here, the Deputy Chief Minister would be accompanied by Special Chief Secretary (Finance) K Ramakrishna Rao, Energy Secretary Ronald Rose, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N Balram, Special Secretary to Deputy CM Krishna Bhaskar and other senior officials. During the tour the Deputy Chief Minister will visit the headquarters of leading companies and meet with investors at the international expo related to mining and green power sectors. On September 24 and 25, the team will participate in the International Mining Expo in Las Vegas and hold discussions with the CEOs and representatives of various companies. On September 27, Bhatti will visit Edwards and Sanborn solar facility, the largest single solar and battery energy storage project in the US. The team will interact with investors and technical experts on September 28 and leave for Tokyo the next day.


They will return on October 4.
