Nano Dimension, a leading supplier of additively manufactured electronics (AME) and 3D printing solutions for polymers, metals and ceramics, and HENSOLDT, a German defense company, have agreed to continue their joint venture Jetted Additively Manufactured Electronics Sources GmbH (JAMES).

JAMES, based in Taufkirchen, Germany, combines the strengths of Nano Dimension and HENSOLDT to accelerate the development of 3D printed electronics. JAMES has established itself as a leading electronics design community where designs and methodologies for manufacturing, component integration and materials knowledge are shared, and is a key partner to work with strategic customers on specific projects that aim to make AME central to their work. By creating such a platform, critical awareness, knowledge and real results are achieved.

Based on the success of JAMES, many new R&D and manufacturing teams have begun to see the benefits of AME. This includes improved iterative development, IP security, rapid time to market, and device performance gains.

Nano Dimension and HENSOLDT continue their joint venture JAMES. Renewal of the partnership that was established in 2021 for the development of AME.

“We are excited to continue our work to build JAMES as a critical platform for knowledge sharing and realizing 3D printed electronics. We have had great partners in Nano Dimension and HENSOLDT who have been so supportive from their initial vision years ago to their current direction and perspective. We look forward to seeing JAMES continue to grow into the premier professional network for advanced electronics manufacturing and engineering,” said Andreas Müller, CEO of JAMES.

“The results since the founding of JAMES have exceeded our expectations. Through our closer cooperation with Nano Dimension, our joint venture has become a driver for the rapid development of the technology as a real alternative to conventional electronics production. We are committed to supporting the mission of JAMES and investing in the advancement of digital 3D printing of electronic components to make the benefits of this technology available for development and production in the industry,” said Oliver Dörre, CEO and Chairman of the Board of HENSOLDT.

“Starting our partnership with HENSOLDT – at JAMES – over three years ago was one of the best decisions we have made, not only for Nano Dimension, but for the entire 3D printed electronics industry. We are still in the early stages of developing a technology that is revolutionizing electronics production. Our future success will be supported by JAMES and the work they are doing with many stakeholders. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with JAMES and HENDSOLDT,” said Yoav Stern, CEO and member of the board of directors of Nano Dimension.
