Eagles vs. Saints Top Touchdown Scorers at Any Point in NFL Game in Week 3 (Bet on Jalen Hu)

The Philadelphia Eagles will find themselves in a tough spot on the road in Week 3 when they face the undefeated New Orleans Saints, who have scored the most points in the NFL over the past two weeks.

Philly also put up a lot of points, but Jalen Hurts and company fell short in Week 2 for a number of reasons – one of which was poor play on both ends of the court in the final two minutes.

Will they be able to make up for lost ground in Week 3?

I have a few Eagles players I’d bet on to find the end zone, as well as a hot candidate for a touchdown in New Orleans star Alvin Kamara, who was in the end zone against Dallas in Week 2.

Chances via DraftKings Sportsbook.

DeVonta Smith TD Anytime (+100)

With AJ Brown set to miss a second straight game, DeVonta Smith becomes an elite touchdown target in any game against the Saints.

Against Atlanta, Smith recorded his first score of the season, recording a team-high 10 targets and turning them into seven catches for 76 yards.

Smith now has seven receptions in each of the first two games of the season and should be a big factor again in Week 3. If the Eagles are losing, Smith will be even more valuable at +100 odds.

Alvin Kamara 2+ tries (+260)

Let’s have some fun on Sunday!

Alvin Kamara scored four (!!) touchdowns in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, and now he faces a tough matchup against an Eagles team that has struggled to stop the run this season.

Philly is allowing an NFL-worst 6.7 yards per rush through two games, but has allowed just one rushing touchdown. Still, I expect Kamara to get plenty of work in this one.

Kamara had 20 touches in Week 1 and 22 touches in Week 2, carrying the ball 35 times in those two contests. It’s worth a shot at this prop, as he’s a -220 to score points on the clock.

Jalen always injured TD (+115)

This is a simple volume game for the Eagles quarterback, as Hurts had 13 carries in Weeks 1 and 2, rushing for 33 and 85 yards. He found the end zone in Week 2 and was in the game to do so in Week 1 before losing the snap on a tush push attempt.

Hurts is a touchdown machine, with 10, 13 and 15 touchdowns over the past three seasons.

At +115 I’m going with him over Saquon Barkley (-160) given their odds.
